Ten years on from the start of the Financial Crisis, CIO Tom Becket paid a visit to the site of the Golders Green Branch of Northern Rock, the UK’s most notable casualty when the bank collapsed in February 2008. Standing at the infamous scene where crowds of savers queued outside the branch to withdraw their money, Tom analyses what lessons, if indeed any, have been learnt by central banks and investors since then.
