WorkLife by OpenMoney, the employee benefits platform, has expanded its range of benefits with the launches of private medical insurance and charitable giving schemes.
Through a new tie-up with Premier Choice Healthcare, WorkLife customers will have the option to offer a high-quality, bespoke private medical package tailored to the specific needs of their workforce. Premier Choice Healthcare is part of the GRP Group, one of the largest insurance intermediaries in the UK, and provides an independent service on a wide range of health, risk and protection products.
Powered by the Charities Aid Foundation (CAF), the UK’s leading Payroll Giving provider, WorkLife’s new Give As You Earn (GAYE) scheme means employees using the platform will have the option to donate to any UK charity straight from their salary before tax is applied – allowing them to contribute to the causes that matter to them in a simpler and more cost-effective manner.
These latest developments follow a series of other enhancements throughout 2022, including the launch of an employee recognition centre and discount purchase schemes for both petrol and electric vehicles.
Niamh McLaughlin, Managing Director of WorkLife by OpenMoney, said: “Our objective has always been to ensure that all businesses – whether they have five or 5,000 employees – are able to offer sought-after, meaningful benefits that enrich their employees’ lives. With WorkLife’s latest Small Business Monitor showing that three-quarters (73%) of firms are seeing increased demand for pay & benefits in the current environment, a key priority for us is helping employers to navigate this demand and develop our offering to support the ever-evolving wants and needs of their employees.
“Charities Aid Foundation and Premier Choice Healthcare are both pioneers in their field – we are hugely excited by these two partnerships and look forward to working together to help more of our clients support and engage the talent they need for a successful future.”
Darren Perkins, Sales Director at Premier Choice Healthcare, commented: “We are excited by this relationship at Premier Choice and very much look forward to working with WorkLife to bring sought-after medical benefits to employees using their platform. We see this as an excellent opportunity to spread the word about the importance of features to support employees’ health within firms’ overall employee benefits proposition.”
