WisdomTree taps capital markets expert to reinforce its commitment to quality ETF education and trading
London, Wednesday, 25 January 2017: WisdomTree, an exchange-traded fund (“ETF”) and exchange-traded product (“ETP”) sponsor, is pleased to announce the appointment of Jason Guthrie as Director of Capital Markets for WisdomTree in Europe.
Guthrie replaces Zach Hascoe who returns to WisdomTree’s headquarters in New York, following his successful two and a half year European secondment. Hascoe played an integral role in furthering the Capital Markets function for WisdomTree in Europe, focusing on growing the liquidity and trading efficiency across the product range.
Guthrie will focus on enhancing WisdomTree’s Capital Markets efforts. He will be working closely with WisdomTree product investors, while broadening and deepening relationships across the trading community to ensure smooth execution of trades across WisdomTree’s UCITS ETFs and Boost ETPs, throughout Europe, Israel and Latin America. In addition, Guthrie brings over a wealth of ETF knowledge, crucial for helping investors on how to have an efficient trading experience.
Guthrie will report to Dave Abner, Head of WisdomTree in Europe, and will work closely with Anita Rausch, Head of Capital Markets, who covers the US, Canada and Japan markets.

Prior to joining WisdomTree, Guthrie worked at Deutsche Bank within its ETF Capital Markets group. Before Deutsche Bank, Guthrie worked at Macquarie Bank as an Investment Executive based in Sydney, Australia.
