MRM appoints Rebecca Christensen as Group head of marketing
MRM Group, the independently owned media services business, is pleased to announce the appointment of Rebecca Christensen to the newly created role of Group head of marketing.
A highly experienced marketing and communications professional, Rebecca joins the business from Edinburgh-based platform consultancy the lang cat where she spent three years as marketing director. Prior to that, she founded and ran an award-winning online community and marketplace for small independent businesses called Love from Indie Street.
Rebecca began her career at Standard Life where she was part of the media relations team that handled the successful flotation in 2006. She left Standard Life in 2007 to join Nucleus Financial where she spent just over six years as communications director, with responsibility for creating and delivering the marketing and communications strategy for the business.
Based in Edinburgh, Rebecca will take on responsibility for internal and external communications at MRM Group, working closely with the senior team to manage the development and delivery of an integrated marketing strategy aligned to the Group’s future ambitions and aspirations. She will join the senior executive team and report directly to Group CEO Andrew Appleyard.
