Kames Capital bolsters its institutional sales team
London – Kames Capital has further strengthened its institutional sales team with the appointment of Peter Gibson as senior consultant relations manager.
Gibson will be responsible for further developing Kames’ relationships with consultants and promoting its range of products and services.
Reporting into Jill Johnston, head of UK institutional business at Kames, Gibson will be based in the firm’s London office.
Gibson has more than 17 years’ industry experience. His previous roles include Artemis Investment Management, William Blair, M&G Investments and KPMG Investment Advisory.
Johnston says: “The consultant market is a key focus for our business and Peter’s experience and relationships in this space will allow us to further build upon our existing relationships and recent successes.
“We continue to see increasing interest and flows into our broad range of strategies including absolute return, cash flow matching, alternative credit, property, global equities and multi-asset.”
