Ignis Asset Management support Lord Hutton’s recommendation for the use of risk-sharing arrangements in the public sector
Jonathan Polin, Head of Marketing at Ignis Asset Management said:
“We welcome the decision by the Lord Hutton to examine the potential for hybrid/risk-sharing pension arrangements to be developed in the public sector. Finding the right balance will be key to ensuring workers continue to receive an adequate income in retirement while also ensuring taxpayers are not unfairly burdened.
“Ignis has undertaken detailed research with employers and employees in the public and private sector that displays the support and rationale for risk-sharing arrangements to be implemented in the public sector. We look forward to sharing our findings with the wider policy community when the report is released on the 14th October”.
