MRM has appointed Michael Taggart to the position of director.
Michael has played a significant role in the growth of MRM since joining the agency as head of digital and social in January 2011.
As a director, he will work closely with founding directors Andrew Appleyard and Richard Wheat, as well as fellow director Chris Duncan, to ensure the business continues to grow its strategic online communications unit.
A former correspondent at the Daily Mail, Michael spent six years in local government communications, mostly in media relations, before taking his first agency role at MRM.
“Michael has had a hugely positive impact on the business since joining at the start of last year,” explained Andrew.
“As well as more than 12 years working in and with the media, he brings with him a wealth of ideas about how businesses can leverage social and digital tactics and technologies to improve customer service, deliver more effective marketing and build trust and loyalty.”
