WORKLIFE PARTNERS WITH MOUTHY MONEY TO HELP SME WORKERS ACCESS REAL-LIFE MONEY SUPPORT

WorkLife by OpenMoney, the employee benefits platform created for small businesses, has partnered with Mouthy Money to give SME workers tips on spending, saving and earning money. The collaboration will offer WorkLife customers unique access to Mouthy Money via its online platform and provide them with the opportunity to put their money questions to a network of personal finance experts.
Mouthy Money is a community-led personal finance blog on a mission to help everyday people navigate life’s financial milestones, such as saving for a deposit on a home, by opening up access to real-life money stories.
Since launching in June 2020, WorkLife has been committed to helping firms provide their employees with access to proper, regulated financial advice and other tools to support their overall wellbeing. The tie-up enhances its competitive offering which gives access to free financial advice through OpenMoney, as well as NHS-approved mental wellbeing support from Thrive and a wide range of discounts on restaurants, shopping and fitness.
Commenting on the partnership, Steve Bee, Director of WorkLife by OpenMoney, said: “We have always admired Mouthy Money. Like us, they are a platform built by people inspired by finance, and the team’s focus on speaking in a language everyday people understand and empowering them to take control of their finances makes them a perfect partner for us.
“At WorkLife, we believe high-quality support on financial planning should no longer be seen as a luxury for the wealthy. We want to lead the way with helping small businesses find new ways to engage employees with their finances – our partnership with Mouthy Money is another step towards achieving this.”
Edmund Greaves, Co-Editor of Mouthy Money, said: “Mouthy Money and WorkLife by OpenMoney share a common goal of supporting people with their finances. We are delighted to be working with OpenMoney’s WorkLife platform to help share more personal finance experiences and stories with their customers.”
This latest move follows WorkLife’s recent partnership with group insurance provider Unum and retirement technology platform Smart Pension to make health protection and workplace pensions more accessible for SME employers and employees.
The WorkLife platform, which can be accessed via a smartphone, tablet or computer, is simple for employers to set up online, linking up with payroll so employees can see and keep track of all their benefits, savings and salary in one place. Employers can even add their own existing benefits and rewards.
